2009: The Year of the Ox

The Chinese Benevolent Association-Confucius Church of Stockton in association with PG&E is truly thrilled to bring you the 7th Annual City of Stockton Chinese and Vietnamese New Year Parade to the streets of beautiful Downtown Stockton on Saturday, February 28th, 2009 at 12:00 noon! We are cordially inviting your group, band, company or family to participate in this fun-filled festivity because this year, we are giving awards for Best Marching Band, Best Float, and Most Spirited Group. We've added two new categories for the little ones too — Best Youth Float and Most Spirited Youth Group! Winners will be acknowledged with a plaque for bragging rights. So we encourage you to show off your creativity in kicking off the “Year of the Ox”, gather as many people as you can and express your excitement to the city of Stockton! Rain or shine, we will be marching to celebrate “The Year of the Ox” and we would be ecstatic for you to join us!
